In order for a message item to be marked complete, it must first be removed from all life cycles in Workflow. The message item is then displayed in the Active Message Items dashboard with <NA> listed in the Life Cycle and Queue columns.
To manually mark a message item as complete, right-click the message and select Mark Message as Complete. A confirmation message is displayed, and the message item is marked with a completed date. The message item is no longer displayed on the Active Message Items dashboard, and it is displayed on the Completed Message Items dashboard.
As part of a maintenance strategy, you can also use the EIS Workflow Messaging Archiver task in the Unity Scheduler to programmatically mark message items as complete and marked for pending archive on a specified schedule.
