This option allows you to select a serialization type to be associated with the message item type. The Select Serialization Type page is displayed.

  1. Select a serialization type from the Serialization Type drop-down list.
    Note:

    This drop-down list includes only the serialization types that have not been used in any other message item types. A serialization type can be used in only one message item type.

  2. Click Next. The User Groups step is displayed.
  3. Select a User Group from the drop-down list and click Add to give that User Group permission to access the message item type.
    To remove a configured User Group from the list, select the User Group and click Remove.
  4. Click Finish.
