Once you have created a message item type, you can rename it and edit its configuration settings.

To edit an existing message item type:

  1. Expand the list of available message item types by clicking the arrow next to the HIS Workflow XML Messaging node in the Integration Services tab of the Repositories pane. Message item types are grouped by category.
  2. Expand the appropriate category group and select the message item type you want to edit.
  3. To rename the message item type, right-click it and select Rename. Modify the name and then press Enter.
  4. Settings for the selected message item type are displayed in the Properties pane.
    Note:

    The XPaths, Mappings, and Transformations tabs are not available for non-XML message item types.
