Encrypted Alpha Keywords is not supported for Keyword Types that are used with the following OnBase modules and functionality.

CAUTION:

Keyword Type encryption should not be used with these features or applied to Document Types used by these modules.

  • Default Keyword Values

  • E-Forms in the Unity Client

  • Unity Forms

  • Import Manager (used to import data produced by OnBase Export and Publishing modules)

  • OnBase Client API

  • Report Services

  • Workflow in the Classic OnBase Client interface (Core-based Workflow does support Keyword Type encryption)

Note:

Keyword Type encryption is supported for use with the Full-Text Search license. However, this license cannot be used if your organization is configuring OnBase and the Full-Text Search to meet the intent of applicable PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) requirements.
