It is considered a best practice to configure a security mask for encrypted Keyword Types in your OnBase solution. Security masking provides an additional level of security for encrypted Keyword Types when they are shown to users. When a security mask is configured, a portion of the encrypted Keyword Type, or the entire encrypted Keyword Type, is hidden by the configured mask.
