To create and configure the logical ports that will be used in an outbound operation:

  1. Right-click the left instance of Port Surface and select New Configured Port.
  2. The Port Configuration Wizard is displayed.
  3. Click Next.
  4. On the Port Properties screen, type a name for the port. For example, InFromLOBPort.
  5. Click Next.
  6. On the Select a Port Type screen, type a name for the port type in the Port Type Name field. For example, InFromLOBPortType.
  7. Ensure that One-Way is selected.
  8. Click Next.
  9. On the Port Binding screen, click Next.
  10. Click Finish.
  11. The port you created is displayed:
  12. Right-click the right instance of Port Surface and select New Configured Port.
  13. The Port Configuration Wizard is displayed.
  14. Click Next.
  15. On the Port Properties screen, type a name for the port. For example, InToHylandAdapterPort.
  16. Click Next.
  17. On the Select a Port Type screen, type a name for the port type in the Port Type Name field. For example, InToHylandAdapterPortType.
  18. Select Request-Response.
  19. Click Next.
  20. On the Port Binding screen, select I'll be sending a request and receiving a response. from the Port direction of communication drop-down list.
  21. Click Next.
  22. Click Finish.
  23. The port you created is displayed:
  24. Right-click the right instance of Port Surface and select New Configured Port.
  25. The Port Configuration Wizard is displayed.
  26. Click Next.
  27. On the Port Properties screen, type a name for the port. For example, VerificationPort.
  28. Click Next.
  29. On the Select a Port Type screen, type a name for the port type in the Port Type Name field. For example, VerificationPortType.
  30. Ensure that One-Way is selected.
  31. Click Next.
  32. On the Port Binding screen, select I'll always be sending messages on this port. from the Port direction of communication drop-down list.
  33. Click Next.
  34. Click Finish.
  35. The port you created is displayed:
