Additional OnBase configuration is required for all Enterprise Integration Server inbound operations. This additional configuration allows document event information, such as changes to Keyword Values, to be sent from OnBase to the Enterprise Integration Server via the Hyland Adapter. This information is then sent to a line-of-business application, which can use this information to update business processes.
Although this configuration involves Event Relay Server configuration dialog boxes, an Event Relay Server license is not required to configure or use Enterprise Integration Server inbound operations. Nor is an Event Relay Server license included with the Enterprise Integration Server. You do not need to install the Event Relay Server service.
