The BizTalk Server Administration Console is used to create and configure physical ports, and connect them to the logical ports you created in Creating and Configuring Logical Ports. The process of creating, configuring, and connecting physical ports is dependent upon whether you are using an outbound or inbound operation.

  1. Open the BizTalk Server Administration Console:
  2. Expand the BizTalk Server Administration node.
  3. Expand the BizTalk Group node.
  4. Expand the Applications node.
  5. Select the application you deployed in Building and Deploying a BizTalk Server Project and select Import | Bindings:
  6. Navigate to your BizTalk Server project, and select the WcfSendPort_HylandAdapterBinding_Custom.bindinginfo file. For example, C:\Users\[user name]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Projects\[name of BizTalk Server Project]\[name of BizTalk Server Project]\WcfSendPort_HylandAdapterBinding_Custom.bindinginfo.
  7. Click Open.
  8. Proceed to Creating and Configuring a Physical Send Port.
