To create a physical receive port:

  1. Right-click on Receive Ports and select New | One-way Receive Port:
  2. The Receive Port Properties dialog box is displayed:
  3. Type a name in the Name field. For example, InFromLOB.
  4. Select Receive Locations.
  5. Click New:
  6. The Receive Location Properties dialog box is displayed:
  7. Type a name in the Name field. For example, LOBReceiveLocation.
  8. From the Receive pipeline drop-down list, select XMLReceive.
  9. From the Type drop-down list, select FILE.
  10. Click Configure.
  11. The FILE Transport Properties dialog box is displayed:
  12. In the Receive folder field, type the location to receive the file from.
  13. Click OK to close the FILE Transport Properties dialog box.
  14. Click OK to close the Receive Location Properties dialog box.
  15. Click OK to close the Receive Port Properties dialog box.
