Shapes represent the stages of message flow in BizTalk that connect the ports together. The process of creating and configuring shapes is dependent upon whether you are using an outbound or inbound operation.
To create and configure shapes:

Repeat the above step for the following items in the Toolbox pane, adding them below each other:

Send

Receive

Send
Note:The second instances of Receive and Send shapes are only required if you created a verification port in Creating and Configuring Logical Ports.
