To configure BizTalk Server, run BizTalk Server Configuration, ensuring that you are running the utility as an administrator.
- Launch BizTalk Server Configuration.

The following screen is displayed:
- Select Custom configuration.
- In the Database server name field, type the name of your SQL Server database.
- In the User name field, type the Windows user name of the administrative user.
- In the Password field, type the password of the administrative user.
- Click Configure.
- If you are prompted that the account you specified has administrative privileges, click Yes.

The Microsoft BizTalk Server Configuration dialog box is displayed:
- Select Enterprise SSO from the left pane.
- Select the Enable Enterprise Single Sign-On on this computer check box.

Select Create a new SSO system.
Your screen resembles the following example:
- In the Windows service pane, click ....
- The User Credentials dialog box is displayed.
- In the User name field, type the Windows account that the Single Sign-On Service will run under in the following format: domain\username.
- In the Password field, type the password for the Windows account.
- Click OK to close the User Credentials dialog box.
- Select Enterprise SSO Secret Backup from the left pane and configure a secret backup password.
- Select Group from the left pane.
- Select the Enable BizTalk Server Group on this computer check box.

Select Create a new BizTalk Group.
Your screen resembles the following example:
- In the BizTalk Administrative Roles pane, use the ... to configure the BizTalk Administrators Group and BizTalk Operators Group as Active Directory Groups.
- Select BizTalk Runtime from the left pane.
- Select the Register the BizTalk Server runtime components check box.
- Select both Trusted check boxes.

Select the 32-bit only check boxes.
Your screen resembles the following example:
- In the Windows Service pane, click ... in the BizTalk Host Instance Account row.
- The User Credentials dialog box is displayed.
- In the User name field, type the Windows account that the BizTalk Host Instance will run under in the following format: domain\username.
- In the Password field, type the password for the Windows account.
- Click OK to close the User Credentials dialog box.
- Select Business Rules Engine from the left pane.

Select the Enable Business Rules Engine on this computer check box.

- In the Windows service pane, click ....
- The User Credentials dialog box is displayed.
- In the User name field, type the Windows account that the Rule Engine Update Service will run under in the following format: domain\username.
- In the Password field, type the password for the Windows account.
- Click OK to close the User Credentials dialog box.
- Click Apply Configuration.
