The Reading Group acts as a list repository where required reading documents are assigned to. It is usually given a unique name reflective of the type of documents or member profiles of the Reading Group. For example, the Medical Billing Reading Group may contain documents related to ICD-10, CPT4 and HCPCS Coding References, Electronic Claims Processing Procedures, etc.

Once created, the Reading Group defines the characteristics of the reading list. Users or user groups assigned to a specific Reading Group are required to read all documents in that Reading Group list.
