To uninstall the Hyland Express Scanning Listener Service:

  1. From the Express Scanning workstation, right-click on the Express Scanning shortcut on the workstation's desktop and click Properties.
    The Properties dialog box is displayed.
  2. Add the -UNINSTALL command line switch to the Target field.
  3. Click Apply and then click OK.
    The Properties dialog box is closed.
  4. Double-click the Express Scanning shortcut to launch Express Scanning.
    Note:

    Express Scanning is not launched, but the Hyland Express Scanning Listener Service is automatically uninstalled.

    To confirm that the Hyland Express Scanning Listener Service has been uninstalled:

  5. To confirm that the Hyland Express Scanning Listener Service has been uninstalled, do the following:
    1. From Windows, click Start.
    2. Right-click on My Computer and select Manage. The Computer Management window is displayed.
    3. In the left pane of the Computer Management window, expand the Services and Applications branch and select Services.
    4. In the right pane of the Computer Management window, ensure that the Hyland Express Scanning Listener Service is no longer listed.
