In order to view StatusView content in the portal, the user groups created for External Access Client users, Super Users, and administrators must be granted rights to see the StatusView layouts that will be displayed in the portal.
Multiple layouts can be added to a single portal, and multiple portlets may be displayed in each layout. Each user group can have rights to view all or none of these. If a user belongs to a user group that does not have rights to see a StatusView layout, an error message is displayed advising the user to contact the system administrator.

It is not recommended that the StatusView Group Layout Configuration privilege is given to user groups accessing the External Access Client. Even with this right, portlets and columns cannot be resized in the External Access Client.
