System administrators can configure a password that allows them to override user-specified passwords for PDFs that are encrypted and sent with External Mail Services.

To configure this password:

  1. Select Users > PDF Encryption Settings.
    The PDF Encryption Settings dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select the Use Owner Password check box.
  3. Enter the password in the Owner Password text field.
    Note:

    This password is case-sensitive and can include alphanumeric or special characters. It cannot contain Unicode characters.

  4. Enter the password again in the Verify Password text field.
  5. Click OK.
