FHIR-based AutoFill Keyword Sets allow you to set the endpoints and resource types for the given FHIR keyset. FHIR-based AFKS pull their values directly from the FHIR-based keyset table in OnBase.
Since FHIR-based AFKS can only be used when scanning via the Epic Integration, you must have the Epic Integration license installed in order to use the FHIR-based AFKS.
FHIR-based AutoFill keyword sets are similar to the external AFKS concept, in that the FHIR-base AFKS executes a FHIR query to a third-party system when a user attempts to expand a set. However, FHIR-based AFKS differ from other external AutoFill Keywords in that FHIR-based AFKS allow reverse lookups to be used as well.
FHIR-base AFKS are not a replacement for standard or Medical-based AFKS in many existing solutions.
