There are specific settings that must be configured for FHIR-based Autofill Keyword Sets.

To configure FHIR-specific settings:

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Keyword | AutoFill Keyword Sets. The AutoFill Keyword Sets Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the FHIR-based keyword set. The FHIR button is activated.
  3. Click the FHIR button. The FHIR Based AutoFill Keyword Set Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  4. Type a valid name for a path to a FHIR server endpoint in the FHIR Server Endpoint field. This is the URL of the FHIR resource that should be queried when searching for sets to expand.
  5. Type a static filter that will work with FHIR in the FHIR Static Filters field. For example, active=true. This can be used if you want to restrict results beyond what is configured in the URL.
  6. From the FHIR Resource Type drop-down list, select a valid resource for this keyword set. This will be the resource type that is associated with this AutoFill Keyword Set. Available resource types include: Patient, Encounter, and Service Request.
  7. If a mapping template has been created for FHIR, select the mapping template from the FHIR Mapping Template drop-down list. The mapping template determines how the AutoFill Keyword Set will extract keyword values from the FHIR resources returned from the query.
  8. Click Save.
