In order to perform OCR processing on a document or batch of documents, or to route documents to the Awaiting Ad Hoc OCR batch status queue, a user must belong to a User Group that has been given the Full-Page OCR product right.
Note:
If you are upgrading to OnBase Foundation 23.1 from a previous version, the Full-Page OCR product right is automatically assigned to the MANAGER User Group only. An administrator must manually assign this right to any other User Group.
To assign the necessary product right for OCR processing to a User Group:

In the Registered Processing Products section, ensure that the Full-Page OCR product right is selected.
