The failure of individual pages in a document to be correctly OCRed is not enough to send the entire batch to the Failed OCR batch status queue. Batches only enter the Failed OCR batch status queue when a serious issue (i.e., the OCR engine fails to initialize) disrupts the entire process.

Instead, the OCR process is completed and the pages that were not able to be OCRed are noted in the Verification Report. It is important to routinely examine Verification Reports to ensure that the processed documents are complete.
