Depending on your configuration, you may have documents that are not meant to undergo OCR processing in the same batch as documents that are to undergo OCR processing. These documents may be causing your OCR process to fail for a number of reasons (e.g., the documents belong to a Document Type that is not configured to be renditionable, the documents are not image/PDF documents, etc.).

To prevent these documents from causing the OCR process to fail, configure their Document Types to be excluded from OCR processing. For more information on configuring Document Type exclusions, see Configuring a Document Type to be Excluded from OCR Processing.

When a document that belongs to a Document Type that has been configured to be excluded from OCR processing is encountered in the Awaiting Full-Page OCR batch status queue, it is automatically skipped and the next document in the batch is processed.
