You can shut down a Full-Text server configured for your environment from within Full-Text Search configuration. Once a Full-Text server shuts down, it is offline and cannot perform Full-Text Search indexing.

To shut down a Full-Text server:

  1. Launch the OnBase Configuration module.
  2. Select Utils | Full-Text Search. The Full-Text Configuration Module dialog box is displayed.
  3. Click the Server tab. The Full-Text servers configured for your environment are displayed.
  4. Select the check box from the Shutdown column for the Full-Text server you want to shut down.
    Note:

If you click the Refresh Server List button before clicking Save, all selected check boxes are cleared.

  5. Click Save. The selected server is offline and can no longer perform Full-Text Search indexing.
