After replacing the original segment with copies, you can map the fields in the repeating segments to Keyword Types, E-Form fields, default values, or chart data fields. Each copy of the segment has its own field mappings.
For example, suppose you created repeating segments from the IN1 Insurance segment. In the first instance of the segment, IN1(1), you could assign a Keyword Type called Primary Insurance to the Insurance Company Name field. In the second instance of the segment, IN1(2), you could assign the Secondary Insurance Keyword Type to that field.
To configure field settings for repeating segments:
