The HL7 Event Log records information about HL7 messages sent from OnBase. To view the HL7 Event Log, users must have the HL7 Event Log privilege. Users with this privilege can use the HL7 Event Log to view sent messages and the OnBase documents associated with them. Users can also require messages to be sent by the HL7 Auto-Sender.
To grant users rights to the HL7 Event Log:

Select the View privilege for HL7 Event Log.
There is no Purge privilege for this log. A user can purge a message from the log, but the message can still be retrieved by conducting an explicit search for the message's Item #. Purging a message deletes the status on the message and prevents it from being returned when users search by date range.
