Select One document per segment if a separate document should be created for each instance of a repeating segment containing document file data.
When One document per segment is selected, Advanced Document Import individually evaluates and assigns the Document Type, file extension, and keyword values for each document in the message. If $$DOCTYPE, $$FILEEXT, $$DOCEXTERNALID, $$DOCREVDATE, or keyword values are present in the same segment as document file data, they are applied only to the document created from the file data in that segment.
When using $$DOCTYPE, $$FILEEXT, $$DOCEXTERNALID, or $$DOCREVDATE with the One document per segment setting, it is recommended to configure these fields only in the same segment as the file data.
If a segment filter is configured for the segment containing file data, then documents are created only from the segments that satisfy the configured filter. See Segment Filter Examples.
