When you assign the Appointment Processor message action to an import process, two options are available.
These options are described in the following table:

Create if needed, update if existing |
Creates new appointments if a matching appointment does not exist in OnBase. Also updates information for existing appointments. Existing appointments are identified by appointment ID. If multiple appointments may have the same appointment ID, then you must configure the Appointment Processor for assigning authorities as described under Assigning Authorities for Appointment IDs. |

Delete appointments only |
Deletes existing appointments from OnBase. |
