Options are described in the following table:

Option

Description

AutoFill Keyword Set

Select the AutoFill Keyword Set you want the HL7 message to create or update.

Only standard AutoFill Keyword Sets are available. Chart-based and MRN-based AutoFill Keyword Sets are unavailable because they are created and updated using the message actions that maintain the database tables for medical records.

Note:

If an assigning authority is used for the primary keyword, or if the selected AutoFill Keyword set allows for multiple AutoFill Keyword Set selection, see Using Secondary Values to Differentiate AutoFill Keyword Sets. Additional configuration is needed to ensure existing sets are correctly identified.

Create Set

Creates new AutoFill Keyword Sets using HL7 message data. New sets are created only if they do not match an existing set. See Flowchart: Create AutoFill Keyword Set.

Update Set

Updates existing AutoFill Keyword Sets using HL7 message data. See Flowchart: Update AutoFill Keyword Set.

Create or Update Set

Updates AutoFill Keyword Sets that already exist in OnBase, and creates new AutoFill Keyword Sets if a matching set does not exist. See the following:

Delete Set

Deletes AutoFill Keyword Sets using HL7 message data.

Delete Related Records via Reverse Lookup

Select to delete reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Sets with values from the target (selected) AutoFill Keyword Set. A reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Set is one that uses the primary Keyword Type from the target AutoFill Keyword Set as a secondary Keyword Type.

Update existing documents

Updates Keyword Values of existing documents using new Keyword Values from the HL7 message. To be updated, documents must be associated with the AutoFill Keyword Set at either the Keyword Type or Document Type level.

Note:

For case-sensitive Keyword Types, if the only change to an updated Keyword Value is a change in case (for example, Smith changed to SMITH), then Keyword Values for existing documents are not updated. However, the Auto-Fill Keyword Set that the Keyword Type belongs to is updated with the new value.

The HL7 Back-end Job Processor must be running for documents to be updated. Because updating documents is an intensive process, the HL7 Back-end Job Processor should be run on a separate server from the HL7 Listener.

Update Related AutoFill Keyword Sets via Reverse Lookup

Select to update reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Sets with values from the target (selected) AutoFill Keyword Set. A reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Set is one that uses the primary Keyword Type from the target AutoFill Keyword Set as a secondary Keyword Type. For an example, see Update Keyword Sets Using Reverse-Keyset Lookup.

The HL7 Back-end Job Processor uses only Keyword Types present in the target AutoFill Keyword Set to update reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Sets. To update other values in a reverse-lookup AutoFill Keyword Set, configure another import process targeting the AutoFill Keyword Set you want to update.

Generate Face Sheet

Select to create and store bar code face sheets using values from the AutoFill Keyword Set. See Bar Code Face Sheet Generator Configuration.

Match on secondary search keywords

Select this setting to use a secondary value to uniquely identify an existing AutoFill Keyword Set when the primary value is not unique.

This option is available only if the assigned message template contains fields configured for secondary searching. To configure secondary search fields in the message template, see Using Secondary Values to Differentiate AutoFill Keyword Sets.

View/Edit AutoFill Keyset

Click this button to view or modify the configuration of the selected AutoFill Keyword Set. For general information about configuring AutoFill Keyword Sets, see the AutoFill Keyword Sets module reference guide.
