In this example, the Document Update Processor re-indexes the document to the Document Type specified in the HL7 message, but it cannot carry over the keyword values from the original Document Type.

This situation may occur under either of the following conditions:

  • On the new Document Type, the Keyword Types are assigned as a Keyword Type Group; on the original Document Type, they are not.

  • On the new Document Type, the Keyword Types are assigned as a Keyword Type Group; on the original Document Type, they are assigned as a different Keyword Type Group.

Because no keyword values are provided in the HL7 message, the Keyword Types are not repopulated after the Document Type is changed.
