The Document Update Processor can re-index documents to different Document Types based on the $$DOCTYPE values in HL7 messages. If $$DOCTYPE values may not exactly match the name of a Document Type, then you must configure Document Type mapping.
To map Document Types for the Document Update Processor:

Select the Use Document Type Mapping configuration option for the message action.

Click Map Document Types. The HL7 Document Type Mapping dialog box is displayed.

Do one of the following:

To map a new HL7 code, type the value in the field provided, and then click Create. The HL7 code is case sensitive; it must match the case of the HL7 message value.

To change the mapping for an existing HL7 code, select the code and click Map.
The mapping dialog box is displayed.
