Follow these steps to create and add the script to OnBase.

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Queries | VB Scripts. The VB Scripts dialog box is displayed.
  2. Type a name for the script into the field provided.
  3. Click Create. The VB Script Settings dialog box is displayed.
  4. Modify the settings as needed.
    See the System Administration module reference guide for information about available settings.
  5. Click Save. The Assign VB Script to User Group dialog box is displayed.
  6. Select the user groups that require access to this script.
  7. Click Add to move them to the Selected User Groups pane.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Click Edit Script. The Script Editor is displayed.
  10. Copy and paste the contents of the HL7 script into the Script Editor.
  11. Click Save when finished.
