Tabs configured at the facility level are used by the OnBase Client and Medical Records Unity Client. When a chart is opened in one of these modules, its contents are organized according to the tab configuration for its facility.

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Medical | Facilities | Facility Configuration.
  2. Select a facility from the Medical Facility Configuration dialog box.
  3. Click Clinical Document Tabs.
  4. Type a name for a tab in the Tab Configuration dialog box. For example, a tab could be named Doctor Notes, Lab Results, or Discharge.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Go to Configuring Tab Settings.
