Any document imported into a medical record Document Type is a medical record document. Medical record documents can be created using any OnBase import method, including manual import, COLD, DIP, HL7, and Document Imaging (scanning).
To be attached to patient records or charts, these documents must provide sufficient keyword information to uniquely identify a single patient or chart.
