OnBase can send messages that have been queued by document import processes and messages that have been manually queued from the HL7 Event Log.
The HL7 Auto-Sender automatically sends HL7 messages that have a status of Unsent. When the HL7 Auto-Sender is running, the HL7 Message Sender window displays a list of messages as they are sent.
Note: When sending outbound messages, the HL7 Auto-Sender sends
non-ASCII data as UTF-8.
