AutoFill Keyword Set exclusions can be created for HL7 in order to exclude entire AutoFill Keyword Sets or certain secondary Keyword Types from HL7 processing.

To create an AutoFill Keyword Set exclusion:

  1. In the Configuration module, select Medical | HL7 | AutoFill Keyword Set Exclusions. The HL7 AutoFill Keyword Set Exclusions dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The Add HL7 AutoFill Keyword Set Exclusion dialog box is displayed.
  3. Use the drop-down list to select an AutoFill Keyword Set to add an exclusion for.
    Note:

Only AutoFill Keyword Sets which are not already configured for any type of exclusion are listed in the drop-down list. If you want to modify an existing exclusion, see Configuring Exclusion Settings.

  4. Click OK. The HL7 Exclusion Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  5. Select one of the following settings, depending on what type of exclusion you want to configure for the AutoFill Keyword Set:
    • Select Exclude AutoFill Keyword Set From All HL7 Processing to exclude the entire AutoFill Keyword Set. This removes the AutoFill Keyword Set from the list of available AutoFill Keyword Sets for HL7 import processes, and any existing import processes configured to use it are automatically disabled.

    • Select Exclude Secondary Keyword Types During HL7 Processing to exclude specific Keyword Types within the AutoFill Keyword Set from HL7 processing. Excluded Keyword Types are ignored during import processes, merge actions, and all other types of HL7 processing which update the rest of the AutoFill Keyword Set. The items in the Allowed Keyword Types list are made available for selection.

  6. If you selected Exclude Secondary Keyword Types During HL7 Processing, select the Keyword Types you want to exclude from the Allowed Keyword Types list and click Add to move them to the Excluded Keyword Types list.
    Tip:

You can also double-click Keyword Types to move them between lists.

  7. Click Save to create the exclusion.
