Since EDI import behavior closely mimics the HL7 Listener, EDI requires HL7 import processor group configuration. This configuration is done during the configuration of an EDI import.

To configure an HL7 process group for an EDI import:

  1. Select Import | EDI Import | EDI Import Processor. The EDI Process Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select an import process.
  3. Click HL7 Configuration. The HL7 Process Settings For: <Processor Name> dialog box is displayed.
  4. Select a processor group from the HL7 Import Processor Group drop-down list. If you do not see a group you want, or you need to create a new group, see Configuring Import Processor Groups for more information.
  5. Click Save.
