If you are configuring a Scan Queue, you can specify the event that triggers HL7 message sending. The default setting is During Indexing. To change the default setting:

  1. From the Scan Queue Configuration dialog box, click Process Options.
  2. Click the Integrations tab.
  3. From the Send HL7 Message Event drop-down, select one of the following options:

    • During Indexing

    • During Secondary Indexing

    • After QA Approval—For scanned batches that skip the QA process due to Trust Level settings, HL7 messages will be sent after indexing.

    • During Batch Reindexing

    • During Commit

  4. Click Save.
