Use the Property option to populate the HL7 field with the value of a specific property. To create properties through Workflow, use a property action type like Set Property Value.

To send the value of a property, configure a property Workflow action and ensure it occurs before the Send HL7 Message action within the task list. Then, complete the following steps.

  1. Open the configuration settings for the Send HL7 Message action.
  2. Select the message field you want to map.
  3. Select the Property option.
  4. In the field provided, type the name of the property Workflow will use to populate the mapped HL7 field.
    Note:

    To make sure the name is correct, check the Property Name field in the action you configured to complement the Send HL7 Message action. Property names are case sensitive in the Classic Client. Property names are not case sensitive in the core-based clients. Only alphanumeric characters are supported in property names. It is considered a best practice to omit spaces from property names.

  5. Click Map.
  6. Click Save.
