Import processes can be assigned detailed descriptions to help administrators identify the purpose of each import process. To add or update a description of an import process, complete these steps:

In OnBase Configuration, select Medical | HL7 | Import Processors. The HL7 Import Processors dialog box is displayed.

Either click Settings, or double-click the import process. The HL7 Import Processor Settings dialog box is displayed.

Click Edit Description located on the bottom of the dialog box. The Edit Description box is displayed.

Click OK. The description is now displayed when the import process is selected in the HL7 Import Processors dialog box.
