The following steps describe how to delete a translation table. Translation tables can be deleted only if they are currently not assigned to an HL7 message template.

  1. Select Medical | HL7 | Translation Tables. The HL7 Translation Tables dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the translation table you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete. One of the following is displayed:

    • A confirmation message asking whether you are sure you want to delete the table.

    • An error message stating the table cannot be deleted, because it is assigned to an HL7 template. In this case, the table must first be unassigned from its respective fields in HL7 Message Template Configuration.

  4. Click Yes if prompted to confirm the deletion. The translation table is deleted.
