The Appointment Processor stores appointment information using the chart data fields designated for scheduling. The following chart data fields must be mapped1 in order for the Appointment Processor to create or update useful appointment information.

Scheduling - Appointment Date |
The start date and time for the appointment. While an appointment can be created without a date value, a date value is necessary for the appointment information to be useful. |

Scheduling - Appointment ID |
The appointment ID, a value issued by a third-party scheduling system to uniquely identify an appointment. If multiple appointments may be issued the same appointment ID by different scheduling systems, then the Assigning Authority chart data field also is required.
