Associate the Statement Format to one or more OnBase AutoFill Keyword Set(s).

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Medical | HL7 | Face Sheet Generator. The Bar Code Face Sheet Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click Create to configure new settings for an AutoFill Keyword Set. To modify settings for an existing configuration, select it and click Modify.

    The Bar Code Face Sheet Settings dialog box displays:

  3. From the Autofill Keyword Set drop-down list, select the AutoFill Keyword Set that will be used for automatic indexing with the bar code face sheet.
  4. From the Layout Format drop-down list, select the Statement Format you configured under Associating the Bar Code Face Sheet with a Statement Format.
  5. Select Includes Document Type Placeholder if the face sheet includes a Document Type bar code. When printing, users are prompted to select the Document Type(s) to associate with the bar code. Each face sheet will be printed once for each Document Type the user selects.
  6. From the Print Queue drop-down list, select the printer to which you would like the face sheets to print. In addition, select one of the following options:

    • Send to Printer Immediately —Prints the face sheet immediately after it is generated.

    • Send to Queue Only —Sends all face sheets to a pending queue where they can be manually printed at a later time.

      Note:

      If both Include Document Type Placeholder and Send to Printer Immediately are selected, then users can manually create and immediately print face sheets with Document Type bar codes in the OnBase Client. However, if a face sheet with a Document Type placeholder is created through an HL7 message, then the face sheet is queued for manual printing to allow for the user interaction required for selecting a Document Type.

  7. From the Document Type drop-down list, select the Document Type configured for storing face sheets.
  8. Select Send to Trashcan Automatically After Print to automatically delete the generated document after it is printed. This option applies to both print settings.
  9. Repeat steps 1 – 8 for all desired AutoFill Keyword Sets.
  10. Click Close when finished to exit the Bar Code Face Sheet Configuration dialog box.
