Create the Import Process for the HL7 message type that you will use to generate bar code face sheets. This procedure is required for HL7 messages to automatically generate bar code face sheets. Bar code face sheets can also be generated manually for existing AutoFill Keyword Sets in the Client module.

Note:

These instructions provide the specific settings necessary for bar code face sheet configuration. For additional information regarding HL7 Import Formats and Message Types, see Import Processes and Message Templates.

  1. In OnBase Configuration, select Medical | HL7 | Import Process.
  2. Select the import process configured to create AutoFill Keyword Sets.
  3. Click Settings. The HL7 Process Settings dialog box is displayed. Verify the following items:
  4. Select Generate Face Sheet.
  5. Click Save and Close to exit the HL7 Process Settings dialog box. This provides the ability for OnBase to generate all face sheet layout(s) that are assigned to the AutoFill Keyword Set when the corresponding HL7 message is received.
