This switch controls the number of seconds that the HL7 Sender will wait for an acknowledgement when sending an HL7 message. The default period is 10 seconds, and the minimum is 5 seconds. When this period elapses, the Sender makes one attempt to resend the message.
Increase this setting when the destination machine takes longer than 10 seconds to send an acknowledgement to OnBase. This setting has no maximum value.
The syntax is -HL7WAITACKTIMEOUT=N where N is the number of seconds the sender should wait for a timeout.
