HL7 import processes that do not contain filters of any type are called unfiltered processes. Unfiltered processes are considered default or backup processes.
When an HL7 message is received by OnBase, it may be eligible to be processed by multiple processes using the same message action. If OnBase can execute a filtered process for that message action, then OnBase will not execute unfiltered processes for that message action.
The Always Execute option changes this behavior by forcing the execution of an unfiltered HL7 process even when a filtered process of the same message action can be executed.
