Before configuring a chart-based AutoFill, make sure all Keyword Types you want to include are mapped to chart data fields. See Chart Data Field Configuration.
For detailed information about AutoFill Keyword Set configuration, limitations, and best practices, see the AutoFill Keyword Sets module reference guide.
To create a chart-based AutoFill:
- In OnBase Configuration, select Keyword | AutoFill Keyword Sets.
-
Type the name of the new AutoFill Keyword Set and click Create. The AutoFill Keyword Set Type dialog box is displayed.
-
Select Chart-Based AutoFill and click OK. The AutoFill Keyword Types dialog box is displayed.
- Add the Keyword Types you want to include in the AutoFill Keyword Set. Only Keyword Types that can be populated using a chart-based AutoFill are available.
-
Ensure the primary Keyword Type meets the following requirements:
-
The primary Keyword Type must be listed first. This is the value that will trigger the AutoFill Keyword Set during indexing.
-
The primary Keyword Type must be mapped to the Chart ID # chart data field (such as field #10).
-
If the AutoFill Keyword Set will be applied without user interaction (for example, when a document scanned using the Integration for Epic is indexed through the Application Server), then the primary value must be unique.
-
The primary Keyword Type cannot have a Data Type of Currency, Date, or Date/Time.
-
- To change the sequence of Keyword Types, select the Keyword Type to move and click Move Up or Move Down.
-
Click Settings to configure other features, such as respecting Security Keywords and making the set read-only.
Settings that are incompatible with chart-based AutoFills are unavailable. For example, a chart-based AutoFill Keyword Set cannot also be MRN-based.
CAUTION:Do not select Expand All Matching Instances when configuring an AutoFill Keyword Set that is chart-based, MRN-based, or MPI-based.
- Click Save when you are finished configuring settings.
-
Click Save when you are finished configuring the AutoFill.
A warning is displayed.
Note:If you click Yes when prompted, a new table will be created in OnBase, and you will not be able to remove or change the order of Keyword Types currently assigned to the AutoFill Keyword Set. Make sure the correct Keyword Types are assigned and displayed in the intended order.
- Click Yes. A message confirms that the table was created successfully.
- Click OK. The Assign Keyword Set to User Group dialog box is displayed.
-
Assign at least one User Group to the AutoFill.
Note:
Users do not need rights to execute a chart-based AutoFill, but at least one User Group must be assigned to the AutoFill in order for it to be created and saved successfully.
- Click Close.
