The Emergency Chart Access Request options allow emergency chart access to be enabled at a facility level. These options apply to chart search in the Medical Records Unity Client and the OnBase Client. These options do not apply to locked-down facilities, which prohibit emergency access.
Select one of the following options to allow or prohibit emergency access to charts at this facility:

Users cannot obtain emergency access to charts at this facility unless they have emergency access privileges. This is the default setting. Emergency access rights are assigned to User Groups under Medical | Healthcare Clients | Emergency Access. |

Allows only physicians to obtain emergency access to charts at this facility. Access to charts in this situation will be logged. This setting applies to all physicians, regardless of whether their User Group has emergency access privileges. |

All Users |
Allows all users to obtain emergency access to charts at this facility. Access to charts in this situation will be logged. This setting applies to all users (physicians and non-physicians), regardless of whether their User Group has emergency access privileges. |
Users who obtain chart access through an Emergency Access request will have immediate access for 24 hours. This duration is not configurable.
