When the Appointment Processor processes a message, it may log the following error:

[Appointment Scheduling Processor] Error: could not create the Appointment
This error indicates the Appointment Processor could not create an appointment based on the information in the HL7 message.
The HL7 message must provide an appointment ID, appointment date, and the MPI of an existing patient. If the message template is set up to record the assigning authority for each appointment ID, then the HL7 message also must provide a valid value in the Assigning Authority field component.
