When the Appointment Processor processes a message, it may log the following error:

[Appointment Scheduling Processor] Error: could not find MPI [MPI #]
This error indicates the Appointment Processor could not create an appointment because the MPI specified in the HL7 message does not exist in OnBase.
For the Appointment Processor to create an appointment, the HL7 message must provide an MPI for an existing patient.
If necessary, configure the Patient Record Processor to create new MPIs in OnBase for pre-registration events.
