When researching this error, first check the HL7 Listener error report for additional information. To find related errors, search the error report using the timestamp for the message from the failed message log.

If this error is logged for an AutoFill Keyword Set process, it indicates that the HL7 message did not provide a primary value for the AutoFill Keyword Set that the HL7 import process is configured to create.

If this error is logged for a Medical Records Chart or Patient Record Processor process, it could indicate the message contained an MRN that already exists in the system, but the MPI in the message did not match the MPI for the existing MRN. It could also mean the message contained values that were too long for the MPI, MRN, or chart ID.

If this error is logged for the Document Update Processor, it could indicate the document number or Document Type in the message did not match an existing document or Document Type in OnBase.
