Corrupted messages can prevent the creation of documents and AutoFill Keyword Sets. These messages typically contain either one segment or none, and they cannot be parsed. Corrupted messages may indicate an issue in the sending application or an intermediary.

  1. In hl7failedmessages.txt, review the message that triggered the error.
  2. If the message appears to be corrupted, investigate and address the issue in the sending application (or in any intermediary or gateway service).
    Tip:

    If you encounter an error using the Advanced Document import process, make sure the message is in the format the process is configured to expect. For example, if the import process is configured to import a document by path reference, then the file data field must specify a path to the document.
