Once the message has been properly processed, you can disable the one-off import process and delete any copies of the failed message.

  1. Disable the import process you created in the previous procedure.
    1. In OnBase Configuration, select Medical | HL7 | Import Process.
    2. Select the one-off import process you created for the failed message.
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Select Disable in the lower-left corner of the dialog box.
    5. Click Save.
    6. Restart the HL7 Listener.
  2. Delete the text file where you copied the failed HL7 message.
  3. Delete the failed message's error information from the HL7 Listener error report and the HL7 failed message log.
    Because these logs are never truncated by OnBase, they must be maintained manually. Only delete entries for errors that you have successfully addressed.
